Today for the final spelling test of the year we wrote on the table with a gray – lead pencil. Our class did words then we had to rule up and write the date like you do in a Workbook. To clean up the gay – lead marks Mr. Kennedy (The best teacher in the World) sprayed Shaving Cream on all the tables then with our hands we spreaded it and tryed to write our name’s in it. It took 10 minutes to clean the tables and make them sparkling. Now there sticky and shiny.

When it’s near Christmas our family usually goes to a farm and get’s a Christmas tree, it takes agers but this year was a bit different this year we got a fake tree that looks real. We decorated it with decorations and we bended the branches to make the tree look real. When Finn came over he thought the tree was real.

A couple weeks later we start getting in the Christmas feeling and start buying presents for family friends and relatives.

Christmas is the time to wake up early and see what presents are under the tree this year I am hoping to get a Razor Pro Scooter, Fishing Lures, Gulp Fishing Bait and a Wii game. When I wake up I have to wake up the others at 10 o’clock so we can open the presents, my grandma usually comes down for Christmas to spend the time with us.

For Christmas dinner we go to our cousins houses each year for dinner. We usually have turkey and ham, crackle vegies and some noodles. And then when we finish dinner we muck around and open some presents.

Have Fun Palying the GAMES!

On November 13th we had the House Swimming Sports at Geelong Collage. The grade 3′s, 4′s, 5′s and 6’5 got to school at 8.30 in the morning to catch the bus into Geelong for the Swimming Sports. You got to choose what strokes to do and I chose backstr0ck and freestyle then I ended up to be in the relay. My first avent was on, freestyle and I was versing my friends who are really good swimmers.

“Bang” the gun went off and it was so LOWD! I was in heat 6 so it wasn’t as lowd for me. I dived awkwardly I swam as good as I could but I didn’t do well I got 22.22 for my time in Freestyle. My next avent was up, Backstrock. This was a different story I was doing good I was coming equal 2nd but then I droped away I ended up coming 4th but I tried my best, I got a time of 25.58 and Finn who came first got 21 seconds.

The day was over and people got alot of Ribons but I came 4th in Backstrock, pretty close! I was tired and sore a good night sleep would be nice well not really I went to bed late. I was thinking about what it would be like in the Olympics for Swimmming!

This time 90 years ago the wars were over and Australia observed a two minute silence for the very first time. Today at 11pm the whole school is having a one minute silence to remember all the men and woman who fought and gave there courage to risk there lives for Australia. Unfortunately close to 62,000 men and woman who fought in the World War 1 lost their lives.

Rosemary is a type of  plant that is worn on Remembrance Day as a symbol to make our memories of our fallen soldiers stronger. The Poppie is a type of flower that is also a symbol of remembrance of the soldiers who fought in the Wars.

Today for maths we did a fractions activitie using donuts. We had three tables with donuts on them. One with one donut the other with two and last one with three. The gaol was to get as much donut’s as you can by working out the fraction of whatever table has the most and the least. If theres two people on the table with one donut you would get half each. This activity was ment to help us about fractions and it did. While the ten people waited outside in the corridor it was annoying wating for Mr.K to call your number to go and sit at a table.

I came in and I was the last one to choose what group to go in. I could make the wrong decision or the good decision. I choose the table with the three donuts and I got 3/5 of the donuts  so I was pretty happy and we all got a pink donut and a chocolate donut.

Yesturday the Melbourne cup was on at Flemington. All the people dress up and bet. Before the race (horse race) Mr. Kennedy drew a race track on the basketball court so that we could play a horse raceing game. You put your horse ticket in a bucket and all 24 names are in the bucket so you get a horse. Mr.Kennedy yells at the horse name and if its yourhorse name you move to number 1 and the first person to get to the finish line is the winner. Rai was ‘Changing of the Guard’ and she came first but in the actuall race Changing of the Gaurd got scrached. The top 3 were Shocking, Crime Scene and then Mourilyan. It was a good day.

Today the Melbourne Cup was on at Flemington, Melbourne in Australia. The Melbourne cup is horse racing. The Melbourne cup is once a year on the fisrt Tuesdasy on November. We picked a horse out of box and I got Newport which came about 10th out of 24. Shocking won and he was 11 dollars to win. The people in our class who won got prizes. Jaimee got 1st place so she got a mini trophy and a packet of Bananas.

In Health Week the whole school did Running, Aerobics, Dancing, Skipping, Walk to the beach and Tabloid sports. When we were doing running around the school my jumper broke and I was trying to fix it when I was running. When walked to the beach we had a sandcastle competition. Zakk’s Sandcastle won. It was a Skatepark with bowls, half pipes, stairs and more. Health Week was really fun.

I think that if a 14  year old boy has a fight with a goat. If the 14 year old boy had no guns or knifes then the goat will defentily win because the goat is faster and stronger. The only way you can beat a goat is that if the goat is blind you can puch it really and it would only get husrt it wont break a rip or something.
